Adhd Behavioral Therapy
ADHD Behavioral Therapy is an evidence-based psychosocial intervention used to treat Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in children, adolescents and adults. It is a non-medical, non-drug approach that focuses on changing the behavior of the individual to improve their functioning in everyday life. Through a series of techniques, such as goal setting, problem solving, relaxation, self-monitoring, and reinforcement, the individual can learn to become more organized, manage time more effectively and control their own behavior. The goal of ADHD Behavioral Therapy is to reduce symptoms, increase self-control, and improve functioning in school, work, relationships and other areas of life. This type of therapy is highly effective, has few risks or side effects, and has been shown to be successful in improving the daily functioning of individuals with ADHD.
