Adhd Educational Accommodations
ADHD educational accommodations are a type of special education services or supports, which are designed to help children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) access their education and be successful in a classroom setting. Such accommodations often include providing a student with additional time to complete tasks, allowing the student to take breaks throughout the day, providing alternative methods for demonstrating mastery of a subject, and providing alternative forms of assessment. These accommodations are particularly important for students with ADHD, as they can help ensure that the child is able to understand and process material in a way that is compatible with their abilities, and resources are given to help them to keep up with their peers in the classroom. This may help to ensure that students with ADHD are better able to succeed in their academic pursuits, and enjoy a higher quality of educational experience.
