Adhd Neurodevelopmental Disorder
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by difficulty in paying attention, controlling behavior and being overactive. Symptoms of this disorder can be seen in children and adults, and they can have an impact on social, academic, and occupational functioning. The exact cause of ADHD is not known, but it is thought to involve biological and environmental factors. Treatment usually involves medication, psychotherapy, and/or behavioral interventions. The primary goals of treatment are to reduce symptoms and improve functioning. With proper treatment and support, many people with ADHD are able to lead successful lives.
