Adult Adhd
Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a mental health disorder characterised by symptoms of inattention, impulsiveness, and hyperactivity that persist in adulthood. It is the most commonly diagnosed mental health disorder in adults, and affects up to 5% of the population. It is associated with significant difficulties in life, such as poor academic performance, poor job performance and poor relationships. Treatment of Adult ADHD typically involves a combination of medication and psychotherapy, and may also include lifestyle modifications. With proper diagnosis and treatment, adults with ADHD can take control of their disorder, manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life.
