Biology Unit
Biology is the study of life and living organisms. It involves studying the structure, function, reproduction, growth and evolution of these organisms. Its understanding is essential in so many of our everyday activities. It is used to develop products and treatments for diseases, devising strategies to protect us from viruses and bacteria, and improving our well-being and sustainability. Biology is also essential in the tackling of global issues such as climate change, food security and disease prevention.
