Composite Drawing
A composite drawing (sometimes referred to as a 'police composite') is a drawing produced by a trained artist from the description of a witness or victim of a crime. It is used by law enforcement to assist in the identification of criminal suspects. A composite drawing is typically created based on the person's physical characteristics, including hair style and color, eye color, facial features, and clothing. The composite drawing is used as a tool in the investigation of a crime and may be used to narrow down a list of suspects or to help identify a perpetrator in areas lacking surveillance footage.
