Fingerprint Analysis
Fingerprint analysis is the process of using the unique patterns and ridges of a person’s fingerprints to identify them. Fingerprints are unique to every individual and can be used to great effect to identify a person in a variety of contexts. Fingerprint analysis is widely used in forensic science, particularly in the solving of criminal cases, as well as in a variety of other contexts such as identity verification, access control and immigration control. Fingerprint analysis helps ensure that individuals can be accurately and quickly identified, providing a reliable and cost-effective way to confirm identity.
