This can be used to analyze crime scenes, identify potential suspects, establish timelines, and link evidence to suspects and victims. Forensic video analysis can also be used to detect patterns of movement and behavior, detect behavior that is indicative of a crime, identify potential suspects, and establish links between persons, objects, and events. By utilizing the latest digital video processing technologies such as digital imaging, motion estimation, facial recognition, and data compression, forensic video analysis can provide valuable information to assist with investigations and can be used in a court of law.
