Caspase Inhibitors
Caspase inhibitors are molecules that can block the activity of caspases, a family of enzymes involved in the programmed death of cells. By inhibiting caspases, these molecules can be used to prevent cells from dying, allowing them to live longer or repair themselves. A number of diverse applications of caspase inhibitors have been proposed, including the treatment of cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, and inflammation. Caspase inhibitors are a promising area of therapeutic research and may have a major impact on the development of treatments for a wide range of diseases.
