Kinesiology

Kinesiology is the scientific study of human movement and its application to the understanding of physical activity, health, and disease. It is a field of study that applies biomechanics, physiology, and psychology to optimize performance, physical activity, and health. Kinesiology is used to improve physical performance and diagnose, prevent, and treat physical injuries and disorders. It is also used to enhance sports performance, improve physical fitness and wellness, and develop ergonomics strategies to reduce the risk of occupational injury. The aim of kinesiology is to improve the quality of life of individuals through physical activity.
