Shiatsu
Shiatsu is an ancient healing practice from Japan, from the words "shi" and "atsu" meaning "finger pressure". It is a form of massage and bodywork based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where a practitioner applies finger and palm pressure to acupressure points on the body. This helps to correct imbalances in the body and stimulate the body's natural self-healing abilities. Shiatsu has many benefits, such as reducing tension and stress, promoting relaxation, boosting circulation, improving digestion, releasing blocked energy, and aiding in physical and emotional health. Shiatsu is a safe, non-invasive form of therapy and is beneficial for people of all ages. It can be used as a stand-alone treatment or as a complement to a more traditional medical approach for holistic health.
