Biography:
- Dr. Jackowicz is a new addition to the University of Bridgeport in 2014.
- His study of East Asia began as an undergraduate at Harvard University.
- He then went to Korea and studied East Asian medicine being the first foreign graduate of the Korea Modern School of Acupuncture.
- He then went on to study at the New England School of Acupuncture for his Master’s Degree.
- He became fascinated in the historical development of the East Asian Medical tradition and pursued his Ph.D. at Boston University exploring East Asian Medical History.
- His studies and research have also taken him to Japan and China.
- He is well published in East Asian Medicine, History, and Martial Arts.
