Nutritional Biomarkers
Nutritional biomarkers are biological indicators in the form of molecules, genes, proteins, or other substances that reflect dietary intake or nutritional status. They are used to assess an individual's dietary intake and estimate their risk of disease and health conditions. Nutritional biomarkers provide valuable insights into nutritional health and can be used to help guide interventions, such as dietary changes, to improve health outcomes and reduce the risk of nutritional deficiencies and chronic diseases.
