Chronic Inflammatory Arthritis
Chronic inflammatory arthritis is an autoimmune condition that occurs when the body's immune system mistakenly attacks its own tissues, causing inflammation and pain in the joints. Symptoms include joint pain, stiffness and swelling, as well as fatigue and loss of mobility. Treatment typically includes medications to reduce inflammation, as well as physical and occupational therapy to improve joint function. By controlling the inflammation and strengthening the surrounding muscles, chronic inflammatory arthritis can be managed and its symptoms can be alleviated. With proper care, patients can often live symptom-free and enjoy a good quality of life.
