Knee Replacement
Knee replacement, also known as knee arthroplasty, is a surgical procedure that replaces the damaged or diseased parts of a knee joint with prosthetic implants. This procedure can be used to alleviate pain and disability caused by arthritis and other degenerative diseases, sports injuries, or trauma. By replacing or reconstructing the structural components of the knee, knee replacement surgery can improve quality of life and mobility for individuals with conditions that limit the use of the knee. It can also decrease the need for medications and allow for a greater degree of independence.
