Olecranon Bursitis

Olecranon Bursitis is a condition where the bursa, a small fluid-filled sac, located at the back of the elbow becomes inflamed and swollen. This can cause pain around the elbow joint and make it difficult to move. It is usually caused by an injury or infection, but can also be caused by overuse or chronic conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis or gout. Treatment typically involves rest, ice, compression, and elevation, while more severe cases may require medications or even surgery. With proper treatment, olecranon bursitis can heal and the patient can return to their normal activities.
