Learning Disabilities
Learning Disabilities refer to a wide range of cognitive, neurological and developmental delays that can cause difficulty with the acquisition, retention, understanding and application of knowledge. Learning Disabilities can have an impact on the individual's life, from the academic to the occupational, social and emotional. Individuals with Learning Disabilities require special education services, including classroom accommodations, which can be specifically designed for their needs. With appropriate intervention, individuals with Learning Disabilities can be successful in academic and social areas of life.
