Mental Health Sleep Disorders
Sleep disorders refer to the difficulty of falling asleep and staying asleep, or to the disruption of quality or duration of sleep. Mental health sleep disorders are sleep-related difficulties that are linked to psychological or mental health problems, such as depression, anxiety, and trauma. These disorders can have serious consequences for mental health and overall wellbeing, as inadequate sleep can lead to fatigue, impair concentration, and result in decreased productivity and motivation. Mental health sleep disorders can be treated in a variety of ways, such as developing a consistent sleep routine and using cognitive-behavioral therapy to address underlying mental health conditions. It is important to talk to a mental health professional if you are having difficulty sleeping in order to identify the cause and develop an appropriate treatment plan.
