Therapeutic Storytelling
Therapeutic storytelling is a form of therapy used to help people express themselves, engage with others and seek a greater understanding of their own experiences. It is based on the idea that understanding and sharing stories can help people cope with, and gain insight into, difficult or traumatic experiences. It provides a safe space to explore emotions, thoughts, memories and relationships. Therapeutic storytelling can be used to treat a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. It is also used to help people express themselves creatively and gain a greater understanding of their life and identity. Therapeutic storytelling is often seen as a powerful tool for self-discovery and growth, and can be an invaluable part of a person's journey toward health and wellbeing.
