Bioautography
Bioautography is a method of analyzing and visualizing biological compounds and their components. It involves the use of chromatography to separate out the different components of a sample, followed by a detection method, usually involving radioactive labels or enzymes, to allow for the identification of components of interest on a paper chromatogram. The advantage of this technique is that it can quickly and accurately detect and identify components within a sample. This method has many applications in the field of biochemistry and biomedical research, including the development of drug delivery systems and the detection and identification of toxins and other contaminants. Bioautography is also used in the pharmaceutical industry for the development and optimization of drug formulations.
