Bioceramics
Bioceramics are materials used for medical purposes, such as the repair of damaged bones and teeth, due to their strong mechanical properties, biocompatibility, and resistance to wear and corrosion. These materials are potentially useful for a variety of other medical applications, including tissue engineering, and drug delivery. Bioceramics are inserted into the body as implants and provide a long-term solution to tissue repair and disease management, while minimizing the risk of infections and other potential complications. As such, they are essential components in the advancement of modern medical technologies, allowing for better quality of care and patient outcomes.
