Bioeconomics
Bioeconomics is an interdisciplinary field of study that combines biological, economics, and ecological sciences to investigate the interactions between humans and the environment. It focuses on understanding how humans interact with and use the environment in order to produce goods and services, and then examining the sustainability of these activities. Bioeconomics is used to evaluate the environmental, economic, and social impacts of laws, regulations, policies, and activities related to the biosphere. It can help to identify opportunities for sustainable development and to inform decision-making related to the management of natural resources. Its insights can be used to create equitable and effective policies that meet both environmental and economic goals.
