Bionics
Bionics is a field of science and technology which applies the principles of biology, physiology and anatomy to the fields of engineering, mechanics and electronics. It is the application of biological principles to the design and development of machines and systems that mimic or enhance the capabilities of humans. Bionics has been used to develop a range of devices, from artificial organs and limbs to advanced robotic systems that can move, communicate and interact with their environment in the same way that humans do. Bionics is an important area of research, as it plays an important role in improving the quality of life of those with disabilities and helping to bridge the capabilities gap between humans and machines. It has potential applications in a range of industries, such as medical, automotive, defense, manufacturing and aerospace.
