Biophysics
Biophysics is the study of biological systems and processes at a physical level. It combines physics, chemistry and biology to understand how the components of living organisms interact, work together and control the behavior of the organism. This interdisciplinary field is critical to understanding the fundamental properties of life and has important applications in medicine, biotechnology, and engineering. In medicine, biophysics is used to develop medical imaging techniques and medical devices, such as pacemakers and artificial organs. In biotechnology, it is used to improve crop yields and understand how living systems use energy and grow. In engineering, it is used to create materials and devices that interact with living organisms. Biophysics is an important field of research that could lead to life-changing advances in medicine, biotechnology, and engineering.
