Biotechnology Protein Chemistry and Proteomics
Biotechnology protein chemistry and proteomics is a field of research that uses protein-based molecules to create and uncover new knowledge about the structure, function, and interactions of molecules in cells. By studying the proteins within a cell and how they interact with each other, scientists can learn a great deal about how a cell works. Proteomics is often used to help uncover new drugs, identify biomarkers that can be used to diagnose diseases, and improve our understanding of the mechanisms underlying different diseases. Proteomics is also used to create and test new diagnostic tests and treatments for diseases, as well as to study biological processes that could lead to the development of new therapies. By increasing our understanding of protein chemistry and proteomics, we can develop better and more effective treatments for a variety of diseases.
