Nervous System
The nervous system is a complex network of cells that coordinate communication and information processing in the body. It is made up of the central nervous system, which includes the brain and spinal cord, and the peripheral nervous system, which includes all other nerves in the body. The nervous system is essential for all forms of life, as it is responsible for carrying information from one part of the body to another so that the organism can respond to both internal and external stimuli. It also plays an important role in controlling movement, coordination, and sensory information processing. In humans, the nervous system also controls higher functions such as thoughts, memory, mood, emotions, and behavior. As such, it is a highly significant and complex system responsible for maintaining life processes.
