Spine
The spine, also known as the vertebral column, is an essential component of the human body. It consists of 33 individual vertebrae, from the cervical vertebrae in the neck to the sacrum and coccyx in the lower back. The spine, which connects the head and chest to the lower body, is responsible for providing structural support and posture, allowing us to bend and move with dexterity. It also functions as a protector for the spinal cord, which transmits electrical signals between the brain and the rest of the body. Its flexibility and curvature also act as shock absorbers, helping to absorb and disperse shock throughout the body. Without a healthy spine, physical activity, mobility, and even daily tasks such as sitting and walking, could become difficult and painful.
