Galactagogues

Galactagogues are medicinal herbs, medications, and natural supplements used to increase the production of breast milk. Research has shown that galactagogues are effective in boosting milk production and supply. They are most commonly used by breastfeeding mothers who are having difficulty producing enough milk for their baby. Galactagogues may also be used for premature babies or twins who require extra nourishment. In addition, they can be helpful for mothers who are returning to work and need to pump more milk. Galactagogues are safe and natural, and have been used through the ages to help mothers produce enough breast milk. Galactagogues have the potential to help breastfeeding mothers to have a successful, rewarding breastfeeding experience with their babies.

Breast milk provides the ideal nutrition for infants. It has a nearly perfect mix of vitamins, protein, and fat, everything a baby needs to grow. And it's all provided in a form more easily digested than infant formula. Breast milk contains antibodies that help the baby fight off viruses and bacteria. It lowers your baby's risk of having allergies.
