Cancer Screening
Cancer screening is an important tool for the early detection and treatment of cancer. It is used to monitor the health of individuals at high risk for cancer, detect cancer in its early stages, and assess changes in the characteristics of cancerous cells over time. Screening tests can detect many types of cancer including but not limited to breast cancer, prostate cancer, colon cancer, and cervical cancer. Regular screening can help detect cancer at an early and curable stage, reducing the risk of death or serious disability from the disease. Regular screening also has the benefit of detecting other conditions such as precancerous lesions and benign tumors.
