Neoplasms, also known as tumor growth, are abnormal growths of new tissue cells which can be either benign or malignant. They are caused by an increase in the number of cells and can lead to the development of cancer. Neoplasms can affect any part of the body, including organs, tissues, bones, skin, muscles, and blood vessels.
