Neoplasms/pathology
Neoplasms, also known as tumors, are abnormal growths of cells. Pathology is the study of the cause, nature, and development of diseases. Neoplasms/pathology is a branch of medicine that deals with diagnosing and treating abnormal cell growths, and determining how these changes are related to the development of diseases. Neoplasm/pathology is of utmost importance as it is the basis for diagnosing and treating various diseases, from cancer to genetic diseases. Neoplasms/pathology is used in determining the cause of a particular disease and in treating it, as well as in predicting the prognosis of a person who has been diagnosed with a particular disease. It also helps physicians to identify risk factors that may lead to certain diseases or to suggest preventive measures for reducing the risk of certain diseases.
