Chromosome Number Variations
Chromosome number variations refer to the difference or variation in the number of chromosomes in the cells of different species and individuals. This variation is a key factor in species evolution and the differences between species. Some organisms have cell divisions that lead to changes in the chromosome count, while some other species have a fixed chromosome number and any deviation from this is considered as a mutation.
