Cytoplasm

The cytoplasm is a key component of all cells and is the liquid matrix within which all cellular components exist. It provides support and nutrients to organelles and enzymes, and transports small molecules throughout the cell. It also has a role in the storage of energy, regulation of enzymes, and cellular metabolism. The cytoplasm is essential for the survival of cells, enabling them to carry out critical functions, such as growth, division, and metabolism.
