Cereal Crops

Cereal crops are one of the most significant crop types in the world. They include grains such as wheat, oats, rice, maize, sorghum, and barley. Cereal crops are an integral part of the human diet, providing carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins and minerals. They are also used for livestock feed, fuels, fibers and medicines. As these crops are easy to grow and require relatively little water, they are often an important source of income for farmers. Furthermore, cereal crops play an essential role in preserving biodiversity, as they provide food and habitat for animals and other organisms.
