Crohn?s Disease
Crohn’s disease is an inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) that causes inflammation and irritation of the digestive tract. Symptoms include abdominal pain, diarrhea, weight loss, fever, fatigue, and joint pain. It can affect any part of the digestive system, from the mouth to the rectum. Currently, the exact cause of Crohn's disease is unknown, although genetic, environmental, and immune system factors are thought to play a role. Although there is no cure, treatments such as medication, nutrition therapy, and surgery can help manage the symptoms of Crohn's disease and maintain a high quality of life.
