Hiv Diagnosis and Management
HIV diagnosis and management refers to the identification of HIV in a person and then using strategies to treat and control the virus in order to improve their quality of life and minimize their risk of developing AIDS. HIV testing is used to determine the presence of HIV in a person's body, while HIV management includes antiretroviral therapies (ART) and other treatments to help the person with HIV live a full and healthy life. HIV management also includes preventative measures such as education, early detection, and behavior changes to reduce HIV transmission. HIV testing and management are important for people living with HIV in order to identify and treat the virus as early as possible, allowing them to live a fulfilling life.
