Human Papillomavirus Type 6 (HPV-6) is a virus belonging to the Papillomaviridae family. It is commonly found in humans and is one of the most common sexually transmitted infections. HPV-6 can cause genital warts, as well as other conditions such as respiratory papillomatosis and recurrent respiratory papillomatosis. Additionally, HPV-6 can cause some types of cancer in humans. Vaccines are available to prevent infection with HPV-6 and other HPV types. Vaccination is an important step for preventing HPV-6 infection and its associated diseases.
