Viral Genomics

Viral genomics is the branch of genetics that uses DNA sequencing to study the genetic structure of viruses and their evolution. By studying the genetic material of viruses, scientists can better understand how viruses evolved and spread, which can be used to develop novel treatments and preventions for virus-related diseases. Viral genomics is also used to investigate epidemiological clues of viral outbreaks and to classify and classify viral species. Viral genomics is a powerful tool in modern medicine, as it helps researchers and health care professionals track, identify, and mitigate virus-related illnesses.
