Overexposure to Sun

Overexposure to the sun is the cause of sunburn, premature aging of the skin, and an increased risk of skin cancer. Sun overexposure can occur during activities such as sunbathing and outdoor activities, if adequate protective measures are not taken. Sunburn can be prevented by wearing protective clothing, such as hats and light-colored clothes, and applying sunscreen with a sun protection factor (SPF) of 30 or higher. It is also important to avoid the midday sun and seek shade. Reducing sun overexposure by following these guidelines can help reduce the risk of skin cancer and premature skin aging.
