Rash

Rash is an inflammatory condition of the skin caused by a variety of factors, such as exposure to certain allergens, viruses, fungi, and bacteria. It can present as a variety of different lesions, ranging from small, raised bumps to large red patches that can cause blistering and itching. The most common type of rash is eczema, which is often associated with allergies and environmental irritants. Other types of rashes include psoriasis, rosacea, contact dermatitis, and seborrheic dermatitis. Treatment options for rashes vary depending on the cause and type of rash, but may include topical medications, antihistamines, antibiotics, and light therapy. Being aware of potential causes and triggers can help prevent and manage rashes, and early treatment is important to minimize discomfort and reduce the risk of serious complications.
