Specimen Scraping
Specimen scraping is a technique used to remove biological material from a surface. This method is used in a variety of fields, including medicine, genetics, and forensics, where it is used to obtain a sample of cells, tissue, or other material from a particular site. Scraping can be done using a variety of tools, including scalpels, forceps, and microscopes. The collected sample is then examined in a laboratory to gain further insights into the genetic or molecular structure of the material, as well as provide clues about any pathological processes that may be present. This technique is a powerful tool for scientists and can provide invaluable information on disease diagnosis, treatment, and research.
