Isotope Analysis
Isotope Analysis is a scientific method used to examine the isotopic composition of a material. It is used to identify the origin, age and environment in which a material was formed. Isotope analysis has a wide range of uses, such as in the forensic sciences to help in crime scene investigations, in the medical field to aid in the detection and diagnosis of disease, in archaeology to determine the age of artifacts and materials, and in environmental science to understand the environmental impact of human activities. Isotope analysis is a powerful tool in the study of Earth's atmosphere, oceans and geological history.
