Mass Spectrum Analysis
Mass Spectrum Analysis is a type of analytical chemistry technique that provides a graph of the mass-to-charge ratio of the ions present in a sample. It is a powerful tool for scientists to identify, quantify and characterize the components of a sample by providing a mass “fingerprint” of the sample. It has been used in a variety of fields such as drug discovery, environmental analysis, protein structure analysis, forensic science, and proteomics. Mass Spectrum Analysis plays an important role in improving the quality and accuracy of analytical results by providing detailed information about the sample.
