Ribose

Ribose is a five-carbon sugar molecule that plays a fundamental role in energy metabolism. Ribose is the backbone of all the nucleic acids, DNA, and RNA, essential for cell function. It is also an important component for the production of ATP, a molecule that provides energy for numerous cell activities. Ribose has been used as a supplement to increase energy levels and enhance athletic performance, due to its role in energy metabolism. It has also been used in research to treat symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome and support heart health.

DNA, is like a blueprint of biological guidelines that a living organism must follow to exist and remain functional. RNA, helps carry out this blueprint's guidelines. RNA is more versatile than DNA, capable of performing numerous, diverse tasks in an organism, however DNA is more stable and holds more complex information for longer periods of time.
