Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART)
Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) refers to a range of medical procedures used for fertility treatment. ART includes procedures such as in vitro fertilization (IVF), where fertilization of an egg is done outside the body and then the fertilized egg is implanted in the patient’s uterus. ART is used for couples facing infertility due to various reasons such as sperm and egg issues, blocked fallopian tubes, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and many other medical conditions. ART offers a high success rate of pregnancy, making it an important technology for couples struggling with infertility.
