Mesenchymal Stem Cell
Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are multipotent cells found in many different tissues throughout the body. They have the potential to self-renew and differentiate into multiple types of cells, such as bone, cartilage, fat, muscle, and connective tissue. MSCs are of great clinical interest due to their ability to migrate to sites of injury or disease and then differentiate into the required type of cell, making them a promising tool for tissue repair and regenerative medicine. They have been used for the treatment of various diseases and conditions, such as Parkinson's disease, stroke, heart disease, osteoarthritis, spinal cord injury, and diabetes.
