Myoblasts

Myoblasts are immature muscle cells that have the ability to divide and differentiate into mature myotubes or muscle fibers. These cells are critical for muscle development, repair and regeneration. Myoblasts are used in tissue engineering to create artificial muscles and also have potential applications in gene therapy and stem cell research. Myoblasts are key to understanding muscle physiology, disease mechanisms and personalized medicine.
