Viral Enzymes
Viral enzymes are proteins produced by a virus that allow it to reproduce itself by catalyzing the synthesis of viral components. They are essential for the successful replication and spread of the virus, which makes them key targets for antiviral drug therapies. Viral enzymes are also valuable tools for scientists, used to study viral genetics and other viral traits. In addition, some viral enzymes are being used to improve the efficiency of bioengineering and drug development.
