Nanoscience

Nanoscience is a field of research that focuses on the study of matter and materials on a very small scale. It involves the production of particles and materials at a size of approximately 100 nanometers (one nanometer is one billionth of a meter). Nanoscience has enabled the production of extremely small and complex materials, which has opened up a new range of applications and products. These include nanomaterials for medical, industrial and consumer products, such as drug delivery systems, energy storage devices, and nano-electronic devices. Nanoscience has also enabled research into new materials with improved physical and chemical properties that can be used in a wide variety of industries, from medical diagnostics to building construction.
