Ribonucleoproteins
Ribonucleoproteins (RNPs) are complexes that are composed of ribonucleic acid (RNA) molecules and proteins. They play a vital role of carrying out essential functions in a cell, including the synthesis of proteins and regulation of gene expression. RNPs are particularly important for processes that involve cellular mRNA, such as translation and splicing, and are essential for normal cellular functions. RNPs have been extensively studied and are involved in many diseases and therapies.
